Marilyn Velásquez Alvarado

Marilyn studied Tourism and her objective is to develop community and solidarity tourism, supporting communities to develop their enterprises through training and design of unique trips in northern Peru. For 10 years she was CEO and founder of an important coffee shop in Chachapoyas, Café Fusiones. Since 2007 she has been working in responsible community tourism planning, she is the founder, CEO and responsible travel designer of the tour operator Nuevos Caminos Travel. In 2017 she moved to Spain with her family, from where she continues to create authentic escapes to her home region and travels to Peru 1 or 2 times a year to see the projects she works on.
Living in Seville has allowed her to explore many aspects of her personal development, such as family constellations, mindfulness, mandalas and meditation. She has managed to integrate all this into the trips she organises in Chachapoyas and northern Peru.
She represents a style of travel that deepens and reinforces your self-discovery, and allows you to get to know places and cultures in a sustainable and responsible way.
